Algeria at the Doha International Book Fair

Algeria marks a distinguished presence at the 35th edition of the Doha International Book Fair, running from May 14 to 23, 2026. This participation by the Ministry of Culture and Arts, represented by the Algerian Agency for Cultural Outreach (AARC), aims to strengthen Arab cultural communication and reaffirm Algeria’s presence in major intellectual forums.

The Algerian pavilion features a rich selection of 215 titles across various literary and academic fields, representing the works of 32 public and private Algerian publishing houses. These publications reflect the richness and diversity of the national cultural scene, offering the Arab public an insight into contemporary intellectual production in Algeria.

The pavilion hosting a vibrant cultural program that brings together intellectual seminars and literary evenings, featuring an elite group of Algerian intellectuals and writers. These events are characterized by a remarkable turnout and great interaction from the Algerian community residing in the State of Qatar, adding a unique dynamism to Algeria’s participation.
