Welcome to the AARC
Established in 2005, the Algerian Agency for Cultural Outreach (AARC) is a full-fledged cultural operator. Since 2008, it has held the status of a Public Industrial and Commercial Enterprise (EPIC), fulfilling public service obligations on behalf of the State.
Its scope of action encompasses heritage, performing arts, music, visual arts, cinema, books, and literature. The AARC organizes cultural events and provides support to projects led by artists, institutions, and cultural associations, covering creation as well as promotion and distribution.
The agency particularly encourages contemporary productions through which Algerian creators and authors, both at home and abroad, strive to revitalize national heritage through new forms of expression. It pursues two essential missions:
- To promote Algeria’s culture and arts globally by highlighting their richness and diversity based on criteria of originality and quality.
- To host foreign cultural expressions within our country and foster international exchanges between disciplines and artists, rooted in excellence and discovery.
The agency develops exchanges and partnerships with numerous production support organizations and national and international economic institutions. Through these collaborations, it participates in various events while aligning itself with cultural entrepreneurship and the support of startups operating in this sector.
