Music and Performing Arts Department

Music and Performing Arts Department develops a support policy for live performance to remain closely aligned with the needs of cultural actors and to promote access to culture for a wider audience.

Its involvement takes several forms: ensuring the presence of the Algerian musical, theatrical, and choreographic scene abroad; implementing artistic projects that bring together national and international creators to offer original and unique performances; and establishing artistic residencies that foster collaboration between Algerian and international artists to encourage cultural exchange.

The department works to promote Algerian music and the emerging art scene across the world’s most prestigious stages.
