Visual Highlights – 2025 Reading Competition | Frantz Fanon

As part of the commemoration of the demonstrations of December 11, 1960, the Algerian Agency for Cultural Promotion organized the forum “Frantz Fanon… the Militant Writer” on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Villa Boulkine. The event featured the awards ceremony for the winners of the Frantz Fanon National Reading Competition. Academic lectures, tributes, and a screening of the film “Frantz Fanon” by director Abdenour Zahzah highlighted this gathering, dedicated to celebrating an emblematic figure of critical thought and intellectual resistance.
