Visual Arts and Heritage Department

The mission of the Visual Arts and Heritage Department is to promote, support, and showcase artistic creation and heritage both within Algeria and internationally.

Core Missions:

Organization of cultural events in Algeria and abroad in the fields of visual arts and heritage;
Participation in exhibitions, meetings, and cultural events both nationally and internationally;
Dissemination and support for creators, young artistic talents, and national cultural stakeholders;
Support for cultural partnerships and networking among sector professionals;
Implementation of an annual artistic residency program, open to Algerian and international creators and young talents.

Additional Activities:

Design and production of artistic and cultural programs or products, in partnership with third parties, in the visual arts and heritage sectors;
Management of co-productions and co-organizations of artistic events that generate revenue and contribute to the sustainability of the sector.
